Response to Redundancy (R2R) – FREE career training for your employees facing redundancy.

Welcome to the Response to Redundancy programme. This is a new initiative funded by the Learning and Skills Council (LSC) and European Social Fund (ESF), designed to support individuals who are being made redundant. If your company is in the unfortunate situation of having to make redundancies and would like to support your employees through this process, then we would be delighted to help.

To be eligible for the programme, your company must be based (or your staff must live) in one of the following boroughs: Richmond, Kingston, Sutton, Merton, Bexley, Bromley, Croydon, Lewisham, Greenwich.

MZI are carrying out this Response to Redundancy training programme which takes place at your offices, or our offices, in Richmond, Surrey, to help individuals get back into work and is absolutely free for employees and their employers.

How can R2R help your employees?

We offer a training programme for your employees, which takes place over a 2 day period. During this time, our trainers will coach, guide and share with your employees the skills needed to help them secure the job they want, as well as preparing them for the job market. With Greater London having the highest unemployment rate in the country, with nearly 30% of Londoners out of work, every job opportunity is precious. Given this current climate, we ensure that everyone who attends our training programme is fully equipped to find their next role./p>

The R2R training programme offers a range of topics to help your employees develop the essential skills and techniques for getting back into employment. Examples include writing an effective CV, preparing for interview (including the do’s and don’ts of the interview process), tips on job searching, through to salary negotiation. We will also discuss techniques to boost their confidence and advise on how to achieve what they really want from their next career move./p>

Are we eligible for this free service?

To be eligible for this programme, your employees need to satisfy the following criteria:

• Aged over 18 years old.
• Under notice of redundancy, or unemployed.
• Available for work and actively seeking work.
• Live or work in one of the following boroughs: Richmond, Kingston, Sutton, Merton, Bexley, Bromley, Croydon, Lewisham, Greenwich.
